About Kathy


Kathryis a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counseling Intern.  Kathryn maintains two private practices in Placentia and Tustin California. You may hear her on Blog Radio for Wives struggling with trauma associated with betrayal.

Kathryn graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from BIOLA University, and obtained her Masters of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling from California State Univeresity, Fullerton.   Kathryn is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation in children, grief and trauma.  Kathy enjoys working with individuals, families, adolescents, children and couples.  She is a Grief Recoery Specialist and certified in divorce recovery, remarriage and blended family matters as well as additional ABA training.

In addition to her work as a therapist, Kathryn has extenive expertise as a family law paralegal.  She works with clients as they navigate the legal system with respect to divorce and custody challenges. She is a Certified Paralegal with extensive background in Family Law and Bankruptcy matters. 

Kathryn's therapeutic approach  is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges.She is a Psychodynamic therapist utilizing CBT, Narrative and Gustalt therapy when appropriate. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
